The DigitalGuardian Project:
Education, Alternative Media & Freedom From Oppression The Digital Guardian Project is a grassroots initiative dedicated to protecting, aiding, and assisting survivors of sex trafficking, satanic ritual abuse, gang stalking, targeted individuals, and people who have experienced abuse, torture, exploitation, stalking, and harassment. Our goal is to empower survivors with the knowledge and tools to reclaim their digital rights, protect their privacy, secure their communications, and break free from abusive or controlling environments. We also want to help parents protect their children from exploitation, online predators, surveillance, and threats to their safety. This community is especially dedicated to: - Survivors of satanic ritual abuse (SRA) and organized abuse. - Survivors of sex trafficking, human trafficking, and sexual exploitation. - Survivors of domestic violence, abusive relationships, controlling spouses, and coercive control. - Survivors of stalking and cyberstalking, including technology-facilitated abuse. - Targeted individuals and people reporting gang stalking, organized harassment, intimidation, or suspected surveillance. - Survivors of physical, psychological, and emotional abuse, including torture and threats. - Journalists, whistleblowers, and advocates facing threats or retaliation. - Parents and families protecting their children and personal information. I'm a survivor myself, and my body has been through some extremely difficult circumstances. To be honest, I'm embarrassed about how I look in this video and sometimes in everyday life. But I don't want that to stop me from sharing what I've learned, especially if it might help somebody else. One thing I've realized is how little most of us know about the technology we depend on. Our phones, computers, applications, and online accounts collect enormous amounts of information about us. Sometimes that information can be accessed or misused by people we don't want having it.

WHY I STARTED THIS COMMUNITY 🙂
WELCOME TO THE DIGITAL GUARDIAN WHY I STARTED THIS COMMUNITY When I first started putting The Digital Guardian together, I thought I wanted to create a course. I wanted to teach people about digital privacy, smartphone security, encryption, and the different ways we can protect ourselves and our families. But as I got deeper into designing the course and putting the lessons together, something just didn't feel right to me. I started realizing that what I really wanted to do was talk about these things, share my experiences, and explore these subjects in depth. This is where my genuine, day-to-day interest and passion is. It's easier for me to convey an idea when I can explain it in detail, work through the technical side of things, and have time to think and reflect on what I'm trying to communicate. And I know a lot of people learn better by listening to conversations. I certainly do. When I was a pipe welder throughout my twenties and early thirties, I spent countless hours listening to podcasts while I worked. I learned so much from those conversations over the years, and I came to appreciate the value of absorbing information through long-form discussions. But I also understand that not everybody has the time or interest to listen to an hour-long conversation just to learn something about their phone. And that's where I started thinking about doing things a little differently. I want The Digital Guardian to be both an educational community and a podcast, with an additional option for people who want me to personally configure a privacy-focused smartphone for them. A place where I can share information through written posts that anybody can read, while also having a subscription-based podcast where I can take these subjects much further. Because sometimes I just want to explain something, and other times I want to spend an hour exploring why it works the way it does. And I think there's value in both. WHY THIS IS PERSONAL TO ME I want to share some of my experiences because this isn't something I just decided to do to start a business.

WHY I STARTED THIS COMMUNITY 🙂
THE PROBLEM WITH TRUSTING TECHNOLOGY WE DON'T UNDERSTAND
I've spent a lot of time over the past year learning about digital privacy, smartphone security, encryption, isolation, and all the different ways that are advertised to us as ways of protecting our personal information. And one of the things I keep coming back to is just how much trust we place in technology that most of us don't really understand, and that almost nobody actually takes the time to look into and try to understand. Take your smartphone, for example. We use these things every single day. We store our photographs, conversations, financial information, passwords, and all kinds of personal information on them. Some of our most personal and sensitive information is stored on these devices. We install applications without knowing who developed them. We grant permissions without even reading them to understand what they do. We connect our most sensitive accounts to applications and services, and we just assume that everything is being handled securely. But how do we actually know? How do we know that the company or service being provided to us isn't intentionally designed to harvest our information, learn more about us, or build profiles based on our activities? That's where I start questioning things. I'm not saying that every application is malicious or that companies aren't doing anything to protect our information. Because they are. Modern smartphones have some pretty extensive security protections built into them. Take iPhones, for example. Apple devices are known for having strong security protections. That has a lot to do with the hardware, the software, and the tightly controlled ecosystem Apple has developed, all the way down to the chips that run these devices and the secure hardware used to protect cryptographic keys and perform certain cryptographic operations. All of these things working together form a very strong, fortified device. However, who's protecting you from Apple? And that's where I think we need to start making some distinctions.
