Brokers are dismissing me...

I've had a few brokers seemingly dismiss me after I start asking them questions about a property that they listed.

I'm starting off by asking 2-3 specific questions about the property based on the listing- vacancy, major updates, etc. Then, asking for P/L or rent roll numbers. After that they say to text them my email address so they can send me the docs and they never get back to me.

Am I encountering bad brokers? Am I potentially sounding like a noob that they think can't make a deal happen?

And with that- how frequently should I follow up?
