It's July—the seventh month of 2026. Football season is almost here. Then comes Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and suddenly everybody will be saying, “This year went by so fast.” No. The year did not move too fast. You kept waiting. You said you were going to start the business, write the book, improve your health, repair the relationship, save the money, finish the project, apply for the opportunity, return to school, build the brand, or finally become more disciplined. So—where are you? What have you completed? What have you started? What are you still planning, discussing, researching, perfecting, and playing with? How many promises have you made to yourself and quietly broken? Every time you say, “I’ll start when I’m ready,” you teach yourself that your own word does not matter. That should sting. Not because you are worthless—but because you are worth too much to keep wasting. You do not need another January. You do not need perfect timing. You do not need everybody to understand, support, approve, or clap. You need to stop negotiating with the part of you that keeps choosing comfort over commitment. The first half of 2026 is gone. You cannot recover it. But you can make sure the second half does not become another graveyard for your goals. Answer these honestly: 1. What did you promise yourself you would accomplish this year? 2. What have you actually completed? 3. What have you avoided—and why? 4. What unfinished goal still matters enough to fight for? 5. What action will you take within the next 24 hours? Do not post what sounds impressive. Post what is true. Then take one real step. Not Monday. Not next month. Not when you feel ready. Now. You have enough time to change the story of 2026—but not enough time to keep playing with it. Where you at? #DBWT #TheUnwasted #NoTalentWasted #FinishTheYearStrong
