Hi, everyone! The purpose of this community is to expand our consciousness and embody our knowledge and wisdom, to "ground it" in the body. The benefit of an embodied, lived experience, is to make it ours and have it available when we need it the most. Finding freedom from physical, emotional & mental pain, and reconnecting to ourselves, in the present moment. Mindful, aware, and grounded in the middle of chaos; at the red light when we're late for an appointment; when our bodies complain in pain; or when our kids or loved ones are unkind to us... that's the main benefit we gain from these practices. Why? Because integrating mind, body & soul in these challenging times, in community, can make the difference between living in a trance of separation, or finding meaning and connection, balance, and peace. What is involved? Making time for yourself to explore different invitations (Feldenkrais-based body movements, guided meditations, breath work, lectures) and see what resonates. Practicing what makes you feel more connected, more at peace, and in less pain or anxiety. Sharing your experience with the community, so we grow together. Who has already worked with me and can share their story? Take a look at these short conversations: https://www.skool.com/dayana/classroom/ab216329?md=e80c57d8930a474cbe21ffe21216c210 How do we use this platform (intentionally "not on Facebook")? Watch these 2 short videos that will show you how to get the most out of Skool and adjust the settings so you receive the number of notifications you like and not more! Last, but not least: Please introduce yourself to the community on the feed. Feel free to share a photo, video, or file along with your post. You can post here anytime, ask questions, share your process, and express yourself. You are home. Thank you! Love, Dayana >> PS: Important feature I forgot to mention in the video: There is a SEARCH function at the top (and top right, a "looking glass" icon on your phone). It's very useful to find the content most relevant to you 💜

Do you feel the grip of fear? How does it affect you? What if loving and accepting it was your most important task? How do you do this? During this live session, we will explore how to turn fear into fuel and find love on the other side of it. The session includes a talk, Q & A, and a meditation. The live event is uploaded to our Classroom, and also here: https://vimeo.com/827321928 Love, Dayana

This is one of my most beloved Feldenkrais lessons, and people agree with me! In only 30 minutes, it can create magic for your body & mind. Pain-relief and alignment will be possible. Give it a try! Love, Dayana PS: The lesson is in audio format only (typical for most Feldenkrais classes), so there is nothing for you to look at :) Please lie on a rug or blanket, wearing comfortable clothing you can be free to move on. Enjoy! PPS: You can also find more audio & video lessons like this one in the Classroom😍

Today I spoke about Fear, for a group of 180 people on Insight Timer. It was a beautiful opportunity to test some of the content that I've been sharing here, in the group setting within the course "Living in Love" which you can see in the Classroom (message me if you want to learn more :) It was a powerful live session, and for the first time while leading a guided meditation, I cried. I can't tell you exactly why I cried. What I can share is that at that moment, as we were all breathing through the fear, I felt the importance of the work we do. I was honored and moved to be part of the experience and to be able to catalyze transformation and awareness. What a gift! I paused, continued breathing, and the tears made room for more peace, wisdom, and holding space for the greatest good of all. I could feel it, and I know they did too. Thank you for being here 💜

Today we gather to celebrate my youngest daughter's 10th birthday. It feels like a big day. I remember how small she was when she was born, in our bedroom, after only 6 hours of finding her way out into the wild world. As I reflect on how precious life is, and the privilege of sharing ourselves with others, I am thankful for this safe space to share, unload the weights, and cheer the joys, together. To be celebrated exactly for who we are, as we are. Much love, Dayana

Tue Apr 25 - 09:00 am Emotional Alchemy: A Path to Mastery Do you ever get tired of the ups and downs? Are you running away from yourself? Is it challenging to stay present and open? This is a very common challenge for us all! We will explore how emotions play out in our everyday experiences, where they come from, and how to master them.

We just posted this popular 7-minute tune-up in the Classroom: https://www.skool.com/dayana/classroom/2cb41ca8?md=ddfc6457b796481c8005b146e48a533c It's a great reset if your neck gets achy from looking down at your phone, book, computer keyboard, and even cooking! As mysterious as they seem to most people, the ribs have a lot to do with the freedom of your neck, shoulders, and low back. Take a moment to play with this lesson, and let us know in the comments how you like it!

I've been working with Dayana in her group course Living in Love for about a month now and have seen some wonderful growth and am receiving such loving support through this community she is growing. I am just so honored and blessed beyond measure 💛✨️💜 This last Tuesday, our group had a wonderful discussion on Consciousness Expansion as it relates to Vision and Clarity. This is an area that is challenging for me as I open up to guidance in Purpose. I feel things shifting and connecting as I am led to find more tools to help me on my journey and expressed this in my check in form before class. I ended our session with such a full heart. After class, I was walking outside along the driveway and under the huge pine tree, I found a hawk's feather. It was in perfect shape and I picked it up, thinking it was so pretty. It's been sitting on my side table for several days now and I've loved looking at it. Today, it occurred to me to Google if hawk feathers have any special meanings. Was I ever blown away.... "The hawk feather meaning also has a spiritual meaning and is often seen as a sign of hope, new beginnings, and guidance. It’s believed that hawk feathers bring clarity of thought, provide insight and guidance, and can help to connect us to our spiritual and creative selves. They are also seen as a sign of protection and are thought to ward off negative energies and influences. Hawk feathers are a reminder to stay connected to our higher selves, and to maintain an open mind when facing difficult challenges." What a powerful message was layed at my feet!! I'm so grateful I had my eyes and heart open to receive it ✨️🕯🙏💛 Exerpt from Hawk Feather Meaning & Symbolism: A Strong Sign Of Spiritual Awareness by Joyce Elliot

Wed Apr 19 - 07:00 pm Title: "Mindful Embodiment: The Self, consent, creativity, criticism" How do we embody David Deutsch's wisdom? When he says: "The self is the collective term for the creative institutions of consent among the multiple strands of creativity and criticism that constitute a mind" he may be inviting us to contemplate our inner rules, & the possibility to break them.

Utilizing the Power of Constraints in my own personal journey cannot be over-emphasized. This has been my secret leverage point over the last few months. When testing different methods, I’d mistaken expansion & growth as a "I cannot be bothered to have limitations.” There's certainly a period of "burning off the dead wood" and play time when we're expanding, but if we don't reapply constraints -- we levitate off the ground & lose our footing in the world. Like a shaping of a plant, we still need constraints to reach our potential and fill into the mold of our desired self, otherwise the expended energy never takes its true form.

as a physical place, a Wednesday, a state of mind, is an opportunity to reflect and recalibrate our direction, to find peace in the center. It may feel suspended, not this nor that, uncertain. It may cause a stir inside, our minds wanting to know what's next... In this middle place, there is wide, open space to be found, an invitation to take a deeper breath, to surrender to not knowing, and find trust in the next step, no matter what form it takes.

is being happy at heart with having and accepting what flow is bringing your way now. What you are about to receive is new, you don’t know it yet. You can’t have a past experience as a reference. It may be better than what you imagined, so there is no point in using energy to figure out what it would look like. The feeling of gratitude for it, however, is similar. Deeper gratitude, heart-felt receivership, "having" as a state of mind and body. A body that receives feels secure, complete, cared for, supported. It feels no lack. Take your breath, for example. As your body receives oxygen, it expands and lets the new in, accepting what is coming, in divine timing, in the perfect amount, at the appropriate pace. It opens to it, allowing it in. One breath at a time, creativity finds its way in and around any apparent obstacle, like the roots of a tree that grows on walls, between bricks and cement, year after year. As we align our human nature with nature itself, we tap into the source of this infinitely creative universe and allow it to take us on a surprising ride, a journey to the unknown. We have been imprinted with fear of the unknown by those that lived in contraction against it. As we remember our oneness with all that is, we no longer need to continue contracting and can align with true abundance.

Our two upcoming live events, co-hosted with Insight Timer, are in the books. Here are the dates, times, and topics. Date: Tuesday, April 11 - 6 pm EST: Mindful Embodiment: the pain behind spiritual bypassing Do you find yourself "zapping" or channel surfing between spiritual practices, modalities, and guides? Is it challenging for you to find depth and focus with your attention? Join us to explore the symptoms and possible root causes of this disconnect, and a grounding practice to transform it. Date: Thursday Apr 13 - 12:00 pm EST: Spiritual Embodiment: self-love after separation or divorce The challenge of a traumatic break-up can be equated to death, and in fact, there is a part of yourself that dies with it, left in a limbo of sorts, wondering "How did I get here...?"... Join us to gain a deeper understanding of this process, honor the "trance" of separation, and find unity within. You can join us on the Insight Timer app: https://insig.ht/mug8AtXGOyb?utm_source=copy_link&utm_medium=live_stream_share Would love to see you there! 💜

We had a great Live Event today, where we explored different perspectives about Artificial Intelligence and Artificial General Intelligence, and how they relate to making empowering meaning. We were about 100 people on Insight Timer, and I had the honor to lead the conversation. Some great insights were shared, and a short yet powerful practice to ground in our bodies and hearts the many ideas we explored with our minds during the conversation. It was revealing! Stay tuned, as we will repost it in the next couple of days. If you are interested in conversations like this one, please add them to the feed as requests, and we will do our best to fulfill them!

When I first started, it was what to expect when I meditated. I expected way too much from the practice in the beginning -- but when I started to relax during meditation, I could empty myself within minutes & tap into the eternal void. For months, I'd clear the world & my thoughts... and eventually my identity away while sitting in this void. The best way I can explain it (for myself) is akin to sitting in a giant dark room, a vacuum of sorts. No noise, no images, no feeling. There was a 'driftness' to it. Moving slow-motion through the darkness. I want to state again -- this happened for months, without anything exciting happening. Then one day, the images & visuals started to fly in. I was being consulted in my meditations by past memories. In my waking (normal time), I'd come in contact with birds, squirrels, or dogs in the neighborhood -- and they'd spew tiny bits of wisdom to me. The animals themselves weren't speaking to me (obviously), but their emergence into my awareness would bring tiny bits of wisdom to small [work] projects or personal issues that I was working through. I'd meet random people in the grocery store or walking about the city -- and they'd share some piece of insight that had nothing to do with that person or the conversation we were having.. but was an answer I had been requesting. I should state that meditation isn't a circus or carnival going on inside of me at all times. In fact, 75% of the time -- my meditation is the dark void. It's the stripping away of accumulation that I incur on a daily basis. I typically get better results in meditation when I've fasted for 16+ hours... but I don't do that often -- I love food too much. What I've learned is that this chasm must be crossed to reach those euphoric, visual moments -- where the stream of consciousness is flowing with insights & wisdom. If you're a Christian follower or was raised Christian -- what I am referring to is similar to Jesus's '40 nights in the desert'.

Today during our live event (which will be posted in the Classroom tomorrow) we covered the topic of vows and agreements, and how they shape our reality. We explored how to identify an old, “non-serving” agreement, which sometimes it’s felt as a block, or resistance. There’s a lot of layers to this, as usual when it comes to understanding the human experience… What’s your perspective on agreements with yourself and others? Do you check frequently to make sure they still support who you are becoming? Please share in the chat! 🙏🏼💜

How does the absence of sun rays affect you? In my experience, I notice that when the sun is not visible (though I know is up there, somewhere…) my mood is not as clear. It takes some “work” to remember the joy that lives within me. Rain —which I love— has a sound that invites rhythm and consistency into my awareness, it brings back memories of my childhood innocence, playing under its thick, warm drops in the south american summer, it reminds me of the unconditional nature of the elements. Without likes or dislikes, rain falls on everything and everyone… There’s a certain nostalgia that emerges in me with a cloudy day, the gray cover over me, asking me to step out of bed knowing that the sun is there, to trust, to receive reality as it is. Embracing all and finding my heart in it, aware of the layered and beautiful humanness that we are, and how lucky we are to be able to experience it. ~ How is it for you? On days like this…? And if you’re in an always-sunny or always-cloudy place… how do you experience it..?
