Golf balls
Just finished this for a customer. Golf balls never fail to amaze me. While cutting the balls on the bandsaw I did find one with compressed rubber bands this is why a like to trim them before casting in resin. Plus it wouldn’t fit into my mould without trimming anyway

BAR TOP RESIN
So I went with the bar top. And the result was just OK. It's not a mirror finish but a sort of rough finish. A little disappointing. And I'm not sure why. Anybody have any ideas? I'm gonna ask the manufacturer as well. Cheers everyone and have a great day!

New lathe
After having a play with a Pathfinder lathe on the Record Power stand at Makers Central, I decide it was time to get my own, rather than rely on the shared machine at the HackSpace. It turned up today, and I'm really impressed. There is a lot of lathe here for the price, and will be perfect of hybrid resin projects. (Please ignore the graffiti left by the previous owners of my shed...🤣)
