This space can be so confusing. Which standards or frameworks do you use? DAMA DMBok? ISO standards ITIL COBIT NIST GDPR and or other privacy frameworks or legislation? Others?

I am involved in a few committees, which look at various aspects of Data Governance. One of the challenges I find is that different communities use the same terminology to mean different things. For example, classification means different things to Information security, privacy, and records managers. Would you be interested in some of the findings from those committees (Only that which I am allowed to share"?
