Something is happening to a lot of us right now.
The news is heavy. The world feels unstable. There is grief that doesn't have a name, exhaustion that sleep doesn't fix, and a creeping sense that it's getting harder to stay present — in our bodies, in our relationships, in our lives.
You're not broken. You're responding to a broken system.
Anchor in the Storm is a somatic movement series for people who feel the weight of the world and want to find their ground again — without looking away from what matters.
This free 60-minute open door session is your invitation to experience what the series feels like. We'll move together, breathe together, and find — even briefly — what it feels like to be in a body that is safe, present, and alive.
No experience needed. No right way to move. Just you, your body, and a little space to land.
What to expect:
- 60 minutes of guided somatic movement via Zoom
- Gently guided somatic prompts — tuning into sensation, breath, and what your body is holding
- A taste of the 6-week series — beginning 27 May
Facilitated by Taline Valerio — somatic movement facilitator, dance therapist-in-training, DJ, and someone who is also navigating these times alongside you.
