Dana Morris is a former IEP Coordinator with 20 years of public school experience, 14 of them in special education. She holds an Illinois LBS1, Texas and North Carolina certifications, a Master’s in Educational Leadership (4.0 GPA), and is completing a Master of Jurisprudence from Texas A&M School of Law with a focus on education law. She also holds a paralegal certificate from Texas Christian University. Dana now works as an IEP coach, helping parents understand their child’s IEP, identify missing services, and prepare for meetings with confidence. She does not provide legal advice but empowers families to advocate effectively. She also understands the hardship administration places on teachers, but has a leader’s perspective, too. Her unique blend of classroom leadership, compliance auditing, and legal training sets her apart in special education consulting.
