💡 Wisdom Wednesday
Happy Wednesday, legends 💡
Midweek reminder — discipline without connection feels like control.
Connection beats correction.
Before correcting your child today, connect first. A hug. Eye contact. A calm tone. When kids feel safe, they listen.
Examples:
  • Kneel down to their level before speaking.
  • Put a hand on their shoulder before giving direction.
  • Start with “Hey mate, I know you’re having fun…” before correcting.
Example in action:
Ryan used to bark orders from across the room. This week, he walked over, crouched down, and spoke calmly. His daughter responded instantly — no arguing, no tears.
