When I think about why I started Dad Bod, I bounce back and forth between two feelings.
The obvious one — help dads be better. Look better, feel better, be more capable.
Then I think about my daughter. What she means to me. What I hope I mean to her. The
thought of her calling for me and me not being there is a feeling I'm sure is worse than
death. I want to do everything I can to always be there when she calls.
So maybe Dad Bod wasn't really for me. Maybe it was more for her. I'm not sure if it's
meant to help dads or to protect children.
Either way, here we are.
