Do you avoid conflict and confrontation?
Most individuals who avoid conflict and confrontation > suppress their needs and boundaries. I notice this most commonly in 'people-pleasers'. But the real effect is not speaking up for one's needs, going with the flow. Not rocking the boat to keep things steady.
Have you ever wondered...why me? Why do I have to maintain calm and suppress my needs? Why do I have to suffer silently?
Reality is, you do not need to suffer in silence. Your needs matter. Your boundaries will be respected. You just have to unlearn the narrative - "I must keep quiet so I don't become the source of a problem". And reframe it - "Everytime I accommodate for other by keeping quiet, I betray myself".
The following reel is a great place to start!
