Study Group Leader Sign-Up ๐Ÿ“š (How-to)
Leading a Study Group will give you EXCELLENT experience facilitating discussions - especially if that's something you haven't had much opportunity to do professionally. Plus, it's a fun way to really get to know other group members, and not a bad volunteer item for a resume.. ๐Ÿค” (oh, and you can even self-submit the event to ISC2 for two webinar CPE's, if your counting)
You'll build confidence and learn how to draw the best out of others on a meeting (a life skill no one can put a price on), strengthen your communication skills, and help create a supportive learning environment.
Also, helping others is one of the best ways to deepen your own understanding of the material.
Anyone interested in volunteering to lead a night of the week in Study Group please join the session 2-3 times and speak with that groups members. Everyone is very friendly and will help you get settled :)
