It took me 20 years of pastoring to realize this:
A lot of what we call faithfulness is actually insecurity in disguise.
It looks like:
– never saying no
– carrying everything yourself
– being “needed” everywhere
And it slowly trains people and teams to wait for you to make decisions instead of being empowered to act and grow.
Where are you still carrying things that someone else could be learning to carry?
👇 I’d love to hear what this stirred up.
