Community question
If you already own a pistol, what was your first purchase like? Did you research a lot beforehand, or did you rely on someone’s recommendation at the gun store?

Handgun Buyers Guide
If you’re a first-time handgun buyer or still feeling unsure about what to choose, where to start, or what actually matters (and what doesn’t), I put together a First-Time Handgun Buyer’s Guide specifically to make that process less overwhelming and more empowering. This guide walks you through: - What to look for before you buy - Common mistakes new buyers make - How to choose a handgun that fits you - Safety considerations that often get overlooked You can find it now under the Classroom section. Start there, take your time, and feel free to ask questions as you go — that’s exactly what this community is for.
Up coming training’s
We’re starting to plan our 2026 class schedule and I’d love your input. Would you be interested in mini classes, short, focused sessions (about 2 hours) covering specific fundamentals in a small group setting? Possible options would be late-morning Tuesdays or weekend sessions. Drop your ideas in the comments or send me a message and let me know what you’d like to see.
Welcome!!!! 👋
Hey, in case you don’t know me already my name is Morgan. I want to start by saying I’m really glad you’re here! My safety journey didn’t come from a place of confidence. It came from my own experiences, real fear, real danger, and moments that change you forever. I’ve lived through attempted kidnappings, stalking, and abusive relationships — the kind of experiences that force you to see the world differently. I’ve also seen things I can never unsee… including the reality of rape and what violence does to a person. I don’t share this lightly but it showed me how quickly life can change in a single moment… and how unprepared most people are for danger they never thought could happen to them. Then I became a mom. And everything intensified. Fear hits different when you have kids. It’s not just your life anymore — it’s your family, your babies, your responsibility to defend. I knew I couldn’t depend on anyone else to always be there for us. After my divorce being a mom of three I wanted to become the kind of woman who would never freeze, never ignore the signs, and never be caught helpless again. I wanted to live my life with confidence not fear. So I got to work. I learned awareness. I learned self-defense. I learned weapons training. And day by day, I rebuilt myself from someone who once lived in fear… into someone who stands firmly in her strength. Now engaged to prior LE and wanting to empower others through their journey. I created this community because I know what it feels like to want safety… to crave knowledge… to rebuild confidence… and to start over. Inside this space, we’ll walk through: • Supportive, beginner-friendly handgun info • Situational awareness tools that actually matter in real life • Choosing the firearm that fits your life and comfort • Strengthening your intuition and learning to trust it • Becoming your own first line of defense — and for some of us, the protector our children depend on My desire behind this community is simple: I want you to feel safe.
