🪪 Credit Unions Known Nationally for Little or No ChexSystems Use
These aren’t local branches, but you can join online/membership-based even from Florida:
- Alliant Credit Union – known for not running ChexSystems for checking.
- PenFed Credit Union – rarely checks ChexSystems; membership opened with a small donation if you qualify.
- Navy Federal Credit Union – doesn’t use ChexSystems for many accounts but limited to military families.
- Digital Federal Credit Union (DCU) – doesn’t use ChexSystems for its basic checking.
- Consumers Credit Union – no ChexSystems screening for checking account membership.
These “nationwide” CUs let you join even if you have a ChexSystems hit because they either don’t pull ChexSystems at all or use other screening systems instead
