Here is a list of cameras that seem to be among some of the best options for those of you who have some money to spare and are serious about buying a high quality camera. These are the options that I felt most interested in personally:
•Sony FX3
Price: $3,900
Details: 4K 120fps, fan-cooled, top-tier autofocus, excellent in low light, pro audio support (XLR)
•Sony A7S III
Price: $3,500
Details: 4K 120fps, unmatched low light, 10-bit 4:2:2, top autofocus, no fan (can overheat slightly)
•Canon R5 C
Price: $4,300

•Panasonic S1H
Price: $4,000
Details: 6K open gate, V-Log, full-size HDMI, internal cooling, Netflix-approved
•Sony A7 IV

All are full-frame (36mm x 24mm)
- Ideal for blurred backgrounds, clean low-light video, and pro-level photo + video versatility.
- Great choices for YouTube, client work, interviews, product videos, and cinematic b-roll.
Having been quickly inspired to buy a camera so I can get started ASAP, I am next going to work on narrowing down my choices and deciding what would best suit my purposes. All of these options are clearly fairly spendy, but I’m aware that any of these options are likely to be used fairly long term and I’d rather learn how to use a versatile camera with a lot of features than cheap out and be wanting more out of a camera with lower capabilities when I require it later on.
