Let’s go. no wasted time, straight to it:
- IG released they prefer people to be original, therefore try to not use sounds of other creators when posting (like when you are posting don’t use a sound within UG) instead put the sound you were going to select already in the video, when editing. IG will view it as “original”
- Don’t use too many hashtags, they can fuck up what niche or people you are pointing to, keep it simple 3-5 hashtags max. I heard to use 3 general topics of your niche and 2 vertical on the topic of the reel
- IG now KILLS REACH if you force too much on the CTA “Comment with X and I’ll send it over”. IF you are doing reels to sell on the people around you, cool. But if you are an amplifying your followers and reach better to not do it.
- IG likes more longer content than shorter. IT DOESNT MEAN YOU CANT GO VIRAL WITH SHORT REELS. Zedan does them and goes great. But I suggest on doing at least 1 “long” reel a week. If you post 7 times a week, try to do 1or 2 1/1.5 minute reels.
- TESTING REEL MODE: last month IG released a new future to test reels with a closed pool of viewers to see how I goes, and if it gets good analytics and performs well you can decide to publish it. So use it to your advantage to create various hooks, for the same main body of the reel, and see which hook of the reel get more performance in the testing. That will be the one to publish.
