Why did you start creating in the first place?
I’ve been thinking a lot about how easy it is to get caught up in what content should look like... the numbers, the growth, the pressure to keep up. And I just want to pause for a moment and come back to something simpler.
Why did you start creating in the first place?
Not the version of the answer that sounds good online, and not the one shaped by where you are now — but the honest reason that made you start sharing, building, or showing up at all. Maybe it was creativity, freedom, connection, healing, or the hope that this could open a different kind of life for you.
I’d love to hear it. Share your “why” in the comments if you feel comfortable. There’s no right or polished answer here... just a space to remember what mattered first 🤍
I'll go first... I know that as women, we're wired for creativity. That can look different for every woman, but I think I wanted to find my own voice, create, and connect with people... Somewhere, the algorithms make us foggy-headed, or worse, greedy... and we lose sight of the vision. I need this reminder just as much as anyone else reading! Let's have fun and find joy in creating again!
