Artist Spotlight is happening in 21 days
Beginnings + What would you like to be celebrated for?
Hi all, happy Friday! Welcome to the very beginning of Creative Saturdays. I realized I want to give this space a proper, grounded start while allowing female creatives to continue to filter in who have applied to the Art Residency instead of rushing it into existence with a few days notice. So I’m opening February as our true ceremonial beginning, and letting January be a soft landing. Think of this month as arriving, unpacking, feeling the room, and letting the energy gather. No pressure, no urgency, just orientation. Because you’re the founding group, your free month will extend through all of February. February becomes our real Month One. We’ll be gathering twice a month on Saturdays, and our first two official sessions will be: ✨ Saturday, February 7: Artist Spotlight ✨ Saturday, February 21: Gentle Co-working That will be our rhythm moving forward. In the meantime, I’d love to know something you’d like to be celebrated for! (A recent piece of art, a poem, etc). I'll start with my Mirror Installation with Redwoods - I did it this morning after a pretty intense week and I love it as a working practice of mirroring back nature. Mirrors for me are very magical and mysterious.

Hello from New Hampshire, USA!
Hello, my name is Amy and I live on the East Coast of the US. I am a writer and a surface pattern designer; my mediums are watercolor and digital art. I write feminist revisionist classics. So excited to be here!
Hello from the Pacific Northwest!
Hey all! My name is Lisa and I live in Seattle, WA. I am a Certified Life Coach and (hopefully) a soon to be End-of-Life Doula. I'm also a writer and have written one book called "Midlife No Crisis: An Audacious Guide to 50 and Beyond." Things have shifted in my life recently and I find myself with more time to start focusing on my next writing project, the exact topic of which is still TBD. Happy to be in community with you all 😊
Hola from Costa Rica 🙋🏼‍♀️
Hi everyone, my name is Pepa and I’m an Australian artist based in Costa Rica. I love surfing, exploring the world, painting big walls (I’ve painted 338 murals in 9 countries) studying Taoism and connecting with other interesting creative people who have chosen an unconventional life path. My 5 core values are: creativity, freedom, nature, wellbeing and authenticity. My philosophy is Curate a Life that is a Work of Art, and I hope my work inspires others to see themselves as the Artists of their Lives: Life is Art!
