Turn theory into music, not homework.

I'm Noel Johnston, UNT jazz guitar faculty and author of Creative Guitar Fundamentals, Voicing Modes, Modal Etudes, and The 4-Note Universe. We turn chord melody, voice leading, and interval thinking into stuff your hands can actually play. Think like a composer while mastering the fundamentals as a player.

Live sessions twice a week (Mon & Thu, 8pm CT), 90 minutes of demos, playing, and Q&A. Everything is archived with PDF notes, and my books and apps (Chord-Melody Builder, 4-Note Universe, Modal Dice, and more) are your practice companions.
