Some days just feel like… too much.
Too many decisions. Too much noise. Too many people needing you.
So instead of trying to fix everything…
let’s build something simple 🤍
Today we’re making a DIY Calm Kit
→ something you can reach for when your brain won’t slow down
You don’t need anything fancy. Just a few small things that help you feel a little more grounded.
🌿 Step 1: Pick Your “Calm Spot”
This could be:
- a chair
- your bed
- your car (honestly… this one counts 🙃)
- even just a corner of a room
This is where your kit “lives”
🧺 Step 2: Add 3–5 Calm Items
Here are some ideas—choose what feels good to you:
🧠 For your mind
- headphones + calming sounds (my go-to lately 🎧)
- a short prayer or affirmation
- a “when I feel overwhelmed…” note
✏️ For your hands
- pen + paper
- a simple doodle page
- coloring sheet
💛 For comfort
- cozy blanket
- soft sweatshirt
- warm drink
🌿 For your senses
- lotion or essential oil
- candle
- calming spray
⏱️ Step 3: Use It for 5 Minutes
That’s it. Not an hour. Not a whole routine.
Just 5 minutes to tell your body:
you’re safe, you can slow down.
💜 A little reminder:
You don’t need a perfect routine to feel better.
You just need something small that helps you pause.

If you made your Calm Kit…
what’s ONE thing you would put in it?
