If you’re ever approached by a “funding platform” promising investors, grants, or custom plans but won’t confirm in writing whether there are any fees or payments… that’s your sign to pause.
Legitimate investors never charge you to take a call or to raise capital.
Too many platforms now use “strategy session” or “custom plan” language to slip in hidden costs or consulting fees.
I say this as a late-stage creative entrepreneur and coach — we’ve earned our wisdom! Don’t let fancy words or false urgency make you hand over your card.
