Next week we are starting to get deep into the HOW of creating your own personal art style
You will be encouraged to through look back at your own memories and photographs on your camera roll, and stop and draw the photos that flood you with positive emotions.
Memories hold emotion, and it’s our job as artists to channel that emotion into our lines, shapes and colors.
So this weekend take the time to scroll through your camera roll on your phone.
Look at trips you’ve taken or small moments at home you choose to document.
If you pulled out your phone to take a picture, it’s probably because you felt pulled to capture not only the object itself, but the FEELING of the moment.
Hold onto the FEELING.
Choose a few photos,
A photo of the sky, 🌞🌅
A photo of the water 🌊
A photo of a flower 🌺🌿
A photo of a tree 🌳
A photo of the sidewalk 🪨
A photo of the people you love
A photo of your favorite place
A photo that transports you back to a cherished memory.
Put these photos in a folder in your phone or ❤️ favorite them to keep them organized for next week!
And most importantly
Don’t give up on yourself.
Don’t give up on your dream to becoming an artist.
If you feel like you’ve falling off track with your daily doodles, it’s ok.
Simply Recommit.
Make a promise to yourself to do this for the future version of YOU who is already an artist.
Do it for her.
Show up daily for her.
Push through the noise of life for her.
Decide to be her.
You are an artist, so start acting like one today.
One doodle at a time ✍🏽
Talk to you Monday🌞
