Day 9: Repetition / Pattern
Repetition means drawing the same thing more than once.
If you draw:

- ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
- 🌊 🌊 🌊
You are repeating a shape!
this makes your doodle look neat and organized,
helps the picture feel calm and balanced when they look at it, and makes your drawing stronger and more powerful (like saying something important more than once!).
While,
A pattern happens when repetition follows a rule.
For example:
• ⭐ ❤️ ⭐ ❤️ ⭐ ❤️
• 🌊 🌊 ⭐ 🌊 🌊 ⭐
• big circle, small circle, big circle, small circle
There is a plan that repeats.
• Patterns make drawings exciting to look at.
• They help your eyes move around the page.
• They make simple doodles look fancy and creative.
