Day 20: Contrast
Contrast is when things are very different from each other so they stand out!
Artists use contrast by putting light next to dark ⚪️⚫️, bright next to dull 🌈, or warm next to cool 🔥❄️.
This helps the most important parts of the artwork grab your attention right away 👀
In the upcoming days we’ll explore examples of contrast used in famous works of art.
