I work mainly with homemade paper clay (store-bought works great for kids), building my pieces on simple armatures made from recycled materials — paper, packaging, cups, and other everyday items. I love giving these throwaways a second life as beautiful, useful crafts.
No kiln, no expensive equipment, no toxic fumes. I'll show you how to make paper clay yourself from simple, natural ingredients — it's gentle on your hands and completely safe. The paints and varnishes I use are safe too. (This technique is for decorative pieces, not for tableware.)
