Through crafting, I've found a great way to help myself to overcome some mental health challenges in combination with my mental health professionals.
I have been a professional prop maker for 11 years and have been crafting as a hobby for many, many more.
From previous work as a Peer Support Worker, and recently having become a mental health first aider, I am passionate about mental health advocacy.
Whilst things like grounding breathing techniques and exercise are excellent for a great many people, I aim to help others work on their self-care routine by incorporating arts & crafts into their wellbeing plans.
