Gum glue
For attaching fondant or gumpaste features I make gum glue. In a shot glass I mix 5ml of water, a half inch, bead sized piece of fondant and a similar amount of gumtex. After stirring well, you have a very stable and very strong edible glue. This can be kept in the fridge for a few days at least. What are some of your tips and tricks?

Using sugar art to add depth to your cakes.
By making a thin sheet of hard crack candy, you can create a 3d depth effect. Place the candy over a decorated cavity in the cake. You can even light this cavity area up. This is great for undersea cakes.
