🎻 cosmicgirlie Cello Lounge Guidelines!
This is a curated learning space. Please read before posting or commenting! 1️⃣ Cello Comes First This is a cello-focused community. If your post isn’t related to learning, playing, or improving on the cello, it most likely belongs elsewhere. We love multi-instrumental humans 😉 - but this room is for cello growth. 2️⃣ Kind, Constructive Energy Only Encouragement is welcome, as is constructive feedback. ✅ Ego, sarcasm, superiority, or tearing others down, is most definitely not welcome here. ❌ If there’s a concern, message an admin directly. 3️⃣ No Self-Promotion or Link Dropping This is not a marketing space! Please do not share: • Your YouTube channel • Your paid offers • External promotional links If you’re proud of something you’ve learned or played, share it directly inside the community as a video upload - not as traffic redirection. This keeps things clean and focused. 🙂‍↕️ Posts and comments that feel promotional will be discretely removed. 4️⃣ Participation > Passive Harvesting This is a community, not a download vault. You don’t need to post daily, but engagement really matters, and helps create more flow in the group. 😍 Please: • Ask questions ❓ • Share progress 📈 • Support others 🙌 That’s how the Cello Lounge grows beautifully. 5️⃣ Protect the Vibe This is a calm, focused, joy-led learning space. Disruptive behaviour, repeated boundary-pushing, or ignoring guidelines will result in removal. No drama, no warnings, full discretion. Thank you so much for being here! 🤩🥳

🎻 A quick update about this space (cosmicgirlie cello lounge)
UPDATE: Deadline is 3rd April!!! Members who have not subscribed by this point will be removed. Thank you! Over the past few weeks I’ve been rethinking how this community should work, and how I can make it genuinely useful for cellists who want to grow their playing. Up until now, the group has been a bit of a mix — tutorials here, sheet music there, the odd bit of coaching scattered around. So I’ve decided to reshape it into something much clearer. Welcome to The Cello Playground! The Playground is now becoming a dedicated learning space for cellists who want to: • play the music they love to listen to • build confidence on the cello • develop their sound in a relaxed but focused way Inside you'll find structured mini-courses, tutorials, and coaching resources designed to help you grow steadily as a player. Because of this shift, the Playground will now be moving to a paid membership model. You're already here, so nothing changes immediately for you. You’ll continue to have access for the next 30 days, so you can explore the new structure and decide whether you'd like to stay! After that, the Playground will become a members-only learning space. No pressure! If it’s not for you, that’s totally fine of course. But if you’ve been enjoying the tutorials and want to go deeper with your playing, I’d love to have you stay. You currently have access to the 5 Min Cello Cover Tutorials, which are now being organised into a Classroom space for easier learning and navigation. The 7 Day Goal mini course is also available as a taster if you'd like to explore that. Over the next few days you'll see another course appear: How To Play Cello, which will bring together short tutorials to help you build skills and confidence step by step. You'll also soon see the option to book cello lessons if you'd like more personalised guidance. As for sheet music, that will now be available on request. If you're looking for a specific piece or a bundle of music, just let me know and I can arrange it for you.

La Vie En Rose (Armstrong/Piaf/Wall-E)
Here's this month's free sheet music drop! It's a VEEEERY simplified version for you to play, but it's so lovely and easy to learn. No complicated key signatures, all in first position, and the timing is very straightforward. This one makes for a great little showpiece if you're entertaining friends and demonstrating what you know! Tell me - do you prefer the Edith Piaf version, or the Louis Armstrong/Wall-E version?

I’m learning too…!
Everything has a learning curve, and every day is a “Skool” day! 😅 You lovely cellists are my first community on this platform, so I’m also learning how Skool works. I’ve realised that you don’t see the main group rules when you join, so I’ve now pinned a guidelines post for full clarity (in Chit and Chat). I’ve also created a new category where you should (hopefully?!) be able to directly upload your own videos of what you’re learning, to share your progress! Please don’t embed links from other platforms. Please do check out the guidelines, and remember that engagement in the group means you get access to more things! Any questions, don’t hesitate to give me a shout. (And let me know what you’re currently working on!)
