I found a Bible that I loved at Goodwill the other day and decided that the title page needed art. I chose this to remind me to live my faith brightly because it was someone living their faith brightly in a place where not many Christians were that brought me back to Christ.

I started the Ancient Paths 90 day scripture writing plan today. Summer vacation for the older kids leaves me with far less time for cutting things out or sitting down and being crafty so this is something that is still pretty and easier to do more often.

This one is pretty and simple. I like it. It’s small print, two column, Old and New Testament English Standard Version. The paper is not tissue thin, more like digest or zine thin. This one is going to get art pages, and prayer tip ins over the years for my oldest daughter (she’s about to turn 3) The ministry that sent it was “Heaven is True”

I’m playing with designs and testing layouts this week. Thoughts?

I always love this stage. The pages are printed, everything is scattered across my clipboard, and my brain is already jumping ahead to all the different ways these pieces could be used. The funny thing is that I never really know what I’m going to focus on until I actually sit down with the Scripture. Sometimes a verse grabs me immediately. Sometimes it’s a question. Sometimes it’s a tiny detail I’ve read a dozen times before and somehow never noticed. Acts 1 & 2, here we come.
