Getting share equity in companies
Are you an accountant or investor or have shares in other companies or business knowledge?
I'm going to take some shares in a company in part exchange for my skills in marketing/PR/business/finance. I'll also go on a low retainer.
How do I work out what percentage of the company I should take versus how much my expertise is? There are 100 shares in the firm which makes it easy to work out.
The start-up is turning over £500,000 per year.
