Introduction
Hey everyone, my name is Ferdinand, but most people call me Nana. I'm a 14-year-old high school freshman, and right now, I have a lot of free time on my hands. I’m here because I want to learn high-income skills that can eventually help me build passive income and make money while I sleep.
My biggest motivation is my family. My parents grew up in poverty and immigrated here from Ghana. Back home, my dad was a talented soccer player who dreamed of going professional. But when he found out my mom was pregnant with me on the way, he made a massive choice. He knew that if we stayed in Ghana, our opportunities would be limited. He chose to sacrifice his own athletic dreams to move to America alone, with absolutely no network or financial help, just to give us a real shot at a better life. He easily could have left us behind to pursue his own goals, but he didn't. He chose to put a roof over our heads and give my sisters and me a real future.
Growing up, I was a bit naive and thought everything in life would just be handed to me. But as I’ve gotten older, the reality has clicked. Even though we managed to move out of our old apartment and buy a house, things are still tough. My mom works hard as a caregiver for the elderly, and my dad drives a truck. They work incredibly long hours (sometimes i don't even see my dad), those jobs still leave them struggling to pay the bills.
I want to repay my parents for everything they sacrificed for me. I don't want their hard work to be for nothing, and I want to build a career that I actually enjoy while securing our financial freedom. That’s exactly why I decided to join and start learning.
