I’m proud of Luis… because he fixed something most contractors won’t even admit is a problem.
@Luis Lago stopped running his jobs on instinct and started running them with structure. When he came in, he was doing what a lot of guys do, taking estimates on the fly, figuring things out as he goes, no real systems behind his construction project management. It felt normal… but normal is exactly what keeps you inconsistent. Now he’s on-site, tablet in hand, documenting scope, building real estimates, and executing with intention. That didn’t come from more hustle. It came from building contractor systems, tightening his construction budgeting, and actually learning how to run a job instead of reacting to it. And just as important, he put himself in a room where the standard is execution. No guessing, no excuses, just people who are serious about doing this right. That’s the difference. Most contractors stay comfortable and call it “experience.” Luis chose to fix it. Are you still running your jobs on instinct?
