A breast cancer diagnosis changes life quickly. Between appointments, treatment decisions, surgery, and recovery, many women feel overwhelmed — especially when it comes to breast reconstruction and what life looks like afterward.
As a Physician Assistant (PA) working in plastic surgery, including breast reconstruction, I see this every day. Women often receive a great deal of medical information but still feel unsure about what’s next, what’s normal, or how to prepare for recovery. This community was created to support women through that gap.
Confidence After Breast Cancer Community is an education-focused, supportive space designed to help women feel informed, prepared, and less alone as they navigate breast reconstruction and life beyond it.
This community does not replace medical care or provide medical advice. Instead, it helps you better understand the process, ask informed questions, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
You don’t have to navigate this chapter alone.
