My first 4 months in business were incredibly painful.
I was lost.
I couldn't focus, wasn't motivated, and made $0.
I performed on such a low level...
It wasn't until I started making conscious decisions about my food choices I was able to improve all of that.
Now I spend the day wanting to work on things.
There hasn't a day passed where I didn't want to work out!
Here's how I did it:
Step 1:
Make a list of foods that you need, can and WANT to eat.
You could have all the healthy food in the world but if you can't afford it or actually want to eat it, then what's the point of forcing yourself to?
It can be:
• eggs
• red meat
• colourful fruits
• fish
• good fats (like butter, olive oil and ghee)
You want to have quality food that turns you into a working MACHINE!
Step 2:
Don't rely on others.
Not your parents, roommates, partners, whatever.
If you know the food they are making is not good for you, then don't eat it.
You need to be independent when it comes to that.
• buy your own food
• go grocery shopping
• research what foods suit you the best
Make conscious, controlled decisions, your body and mind will thank you for that.
Step 3:
There is no perfection.
Keep it simple, you don't need to eat a fancy meal everyday.
Yes, have some variety, but you don't have to be the next Gordon Ramsay to cook up a healthy and delicious meal.
