Hi my name is Dave...
Hey everyone, great to be here. I'm a freelance copywriter who's finally getting into the paid ads space after having avoided it for a few years. My brain prefers strategy and principles to tactics and button pushing, but it turns out the button pushing isn't as bad as some would have you believe.
My clients have been a mix of corporate and e-comm, but I'm over the bland corporate stuff and could go the rest of my life without writing "one weird trick" or "this quick hack" ever again, so I'm trying to pivot to brick and mortar and real estate agents.
Outside of marketing I'm a family man, Army veteran (23 years total, 17 in Special Forces which is actually where I got my start in marketing...another story for another day), and hardboiled fiction fan (writing and reading).
I live in Houston with my wife and two kids and look forward to scaling my marketing side gig into my full time thing this year, with your help. Great to meet you all. Reach out if I can ever be of help.
