Giveaways get you freebie seekers. Nothing is working better right now. Any business can run quick auctions. Low ticket or high ticket. The beauty of the online auction is not the Winner of the auction. That's nice but the buyer leads you get who bid on the auction can 10x what your auction campaign earns. Think about it. Every bid tells you what they want to pay for the offer. Every bid tells you they are interested in the offer enough to make a bid. Plus... Auctions are easy to test before you even run one. Just a quick "would you bid $1 for _____________?" We check for interest level. No replies, move on to something else (another offer). What if the auction winner bid is super low. That's not a problem because we are making our real money with all the other bidders! With 3 simple offer levels to upsell them right after the auction. Think 2nd place offers. A little less with a buy now price that's below the winning bid. If the winner gets a steal of a lifetime. That's OK. Because it's basically a Giveaway at that point. Companies do them all the time but they aren't guaranteed to get you any buyer leads. Most Giveaways just get you freebie seekers. With the auction even if you giveaway the winner, you still make more money because all the bidders WANT the offer and are willing to pay for it. The side benefit is all the social proof and auction hype it delivers. Bidding wars. A little excitement in our boring lives. Auctions are a FUN event.
