Offshore Commercial Diver (IDSA Level 3) | Experienced Seafarer | Seeking New Opportunities

Hi everyone,

My name is Gerard Eid, I’m 25 years old, and I am a recently qualified Commercial Diver from the Middle East Center for Commercial Diving (MECD).

While I am a fresh graduate in the diving industry, I am definitely not new to the sea. I come from a strong maritime background, currently working as a Seafarer with CMA CGM on container ships, where I hold STCW certifications and serve as part of the Engineer Watch in the engine room. This has given me extensive technical experience and a deep understanding of vessel operations and marine safety.

My Qualifications include:

IDSA Level 3 (50m Offshore) - MECD Graduate.

Underwater Welding Certificate.

Diving First Aid & Current Medical Certificate.

SDI/TDI/ERDI Certifications: Open Water, Advanced Adventure, and Nitrox.

Maritime: STCW & Engine Room Watchkeeping experience.

I am a disciplined, safety-conscious professional looking to transition my maritime engineering experience into the commercial diving sector. I am ready to mobilize and eager to bring my technical skills to subsea projects.
