Hi there, Friend. You spend your days caring for others. Listening. Guiding. Reassuring. Holding space for families during some of their most tender moments. Who holds space for you? We invite you to step away from the busy-ness, expectations, and endless giving for a few days and join us for the Come and Be Retreat for private practice IBCLCs. October 22–25, 2026 Prairiewoods Franciscan Spirituality Center near Cedar Rapids, Iowa This Retreat is designed especially for those of us who spend so much of our lives caring for others. Together, we’ll make space for rest, reflection, nature, laughter, meaningful connection, a little learning, and quiet. It’s a chance to slow down. Breathe deeply. Laugh. Rest. Wander. Reflect. Connect. A chance to sit around a table with people who understand the work you do — without having to explain it. A chance to reconnect with the person underneath the IBCLC credential. And maybe, most importantly, a chance to remember that you deserve the same care and compassion you so freely offer to others. You don’t need to arrive with a goal. You don’t need to accomplish anything. Come tired. Come curious. Come exactly as you are. Come and Be. We would love to welcome you into this little pause in the world — a few days created just for you and the private practice IBCLC community.
