Hey everyone,
I just finished sparring a couple of hours ago and I'm happy to be able to share how my session went today as a first post.
Before I share how my session went today, I'd like to introduce you to myself:
Name: Noureddin
Sport: K1 rules kickboxing
Fight weight: 135 lbs
Height: 5'6"
So the format for my insights is usually as follows: what I did well, what could improve, and sometimes notes which are usually strategies against a specific type of opponent or something that clicked for me during the session, along with my energy levels so I can be fair to myself whenever I look back. This is my personal structure but, of course, you're all welcome to organize your thoughts/insights however you please.
The following is today's session:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

---------------------------------------------------------------------
Notes:
Focus on realizing when to press the gas and when to brake when mixing explosiveness with volume
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Key:
* = means very important, either as a technique or as something that works well for me
~ = means I could've done the marked action better
(I use them on a scale of 1 to 3)
Just so you guys are aware, sometimes I make up names for specific moves so I'd be more than happy to elaborate on any unknown terms.
That's it for tonight. I'm grateful to share my insights with you and excited to see us all grow in skill!
