What's the best "little treat?"🤔
Happy Wednesday! Quick question for the group: What is the single best $10 or under "little treat" that instantly saves your sanity during a chaotic work week? Is it an iced matcha cold foam, a new lip oil, a 15-minute walk without your phone, or a aggressive 2:00 PM email unsubscribe spree? Drop yours below! While you type yours out, here is a quick 60-second budget boundary rule to keep in mind for Q4: The 24-Hour Friction Buffer. If you are about to drop $50+ on an impulse purchase online because work was stressful today, do these two quick steps instead: 1. Add the item to your cart or saved list. 2. Delete your saved Apple Pay or credit card info from that site so you have to manually get up and grab your wallet. Giving yourself that 24-hour buffer filters out about 80% of burnout spending without making you feel restricted. Save that cash for your actual goals (or your next intentional coffee run). Now tell me: what is your go-to "little treat" this week?🤔 Let us swap ideas!

📰 FRIDAY TEA FOR THE GEN Z ☕️
(Because if we don't laugh at corporate discourse, who will?) Happy Friday, team! As we continue to build out the intrface of College Happy Hour (aka the best place on the internet to be for Gen Z) & wrap up the week while pretending to clear out our inboxes, here is your official Friday Gen Z Headline of the Week: "Hiring Manager Claims Bringing an Iced Coffee to a Job Interview is 'Unprofessional' & a Red Flag." 🚩 Statistically, 92% of Gen Z believes a $7 iced coffee fixes severe existential dread and workplace anxiety, so telling us we can't bring our literal emotional support beverage to an interview has come across to thousands of Gen Z's like a personal attack. 😭 Does holding a venti oat milk latte make you unprofessional, or is corporate culture just looking for reasons to micromanage us before we even get hired? I had some thoughts on this one. 👉 Check out my full reaction here! 💬 Quick Friday Debate: Before you close your laptop for the weekend, tell me in the comments below: Are you Team Iced Coffee 🥤 or Team Leave It In The Car 🚗? Comment your take, our leaderboards are up and running, so the more you comment.... well, let's just say those who interact, end up on the leaderboard, and we are rolling out monthly prizes for leaderboard winners! 👇

Introductions and whats next?!
What’s up, everyone! 👋 I’m Tarik Williams, a speaker, mindset and leadership coach, and someone who gets to work alongside our favorite adulting expert, Eden Gold! I’m here to help you level up, build confidence, and start figuring out what you want the next chapter of your life to look like. A little about me: When I was 16, I started losing my eyesight and eventually became blind. And let me tell you, 16 is already an interesting age to be trying to figure out your future, let alone having something happen that completely changes how you thought your life would look! But through that experience, I learned a lot about myself, navigating challenges, and figuring things out even when I didn’t have all the answers. And that’s exactly what I want to help you do! Eden and I have some big plans for this community, and I’m excited to get to know you, have some real conversations, and help you prepare for whatever comes next. Now it’s your turn! Drop a comment and tell Eden and me a little about yourself. Where are you from, what are you excited about, and what’s one thing you’re still trying to figure out about your future? Looking forward to connecting with you all! Let’s get it! 🔥 Tarik Williams
