Welcome: Lead Your Life Beyond Work
Welcome to Life Coaching for Executives. This space is for people who carry responsibility at work and want to be more intentional about the rest of their lives, too. We will explore the decisions and habits behind the title: boundaries, relationships, purpose, time, self-trust, and the way you respond under pressure. The aim is clarity and action you own, through thoughtful questions and evidence-informed coaching. Start here: 1. Introduce yourself and share what brings you to the community. 2. Name one area of life you want to give more attention to right now. 3. Ask a question or share a small step you are taking this week. You do not need a polished answer. Honest reflection is enough. I look forward to the conversation. — Manu Velanegra, PCC

Coach the managers first
Quick one for the leaders and coaches here. The trend right now: companies want managers coaching their people. Meanwhile Gallup puts manager engagement at 22%, and 43% of middle managers report burnout. We are asking the most depleted people in the building to develop everyone else. Here is the part most people miss: the patterns that get someone promoted (perfectionism, saying yes to everything, all or nothing thinking) are often the same ones that burn them out once they are managing. Rest alone does not rewire that. Seeing the pattern does. If you lead leaders, or you are in the middle of that squeeze yourself: what is one belief about delegation or rest you have had to unlearn in your career, and what replaced it?

Imposters, take a backseat
Still waiting to feel like you deserve your seat? You won't. The high performers I coach never "arrive" — they just learn to lead anyway. That's what this week's Beating Imposter Syndrome class is for. Live, practical, no fluff. Bring a decision you've been sitting on. What's one seat you've earned but still feel like a guest in? Drop it below.

New Article: Life Coaching for Executives: Why You Need More Than Just Performance Metrics
High stakes leadership is existential, not just operational. My new article makes the case that when the pressure becomes existential, performance coaching is no longer enough: executives need coaching that addresses the weight of real consequence and the health of the whole person behind the title. Read the full article: https://www.velanegra.coach/articles/life-coaching-for-executives-facing-consequence After you read it, tell me: where is the gap between your metrics and your life showing up right now?
