Why it’s good for you:
• Brown rice = sustained energy + gut-loving fiber
• Coconut milk = healthy fats that keep you full longer
• Raisins = natural sweetness + iron + antioxidants
• Cinnamon & nutmeg = help balance blood sugar + add anti-inflammatory magic
• Maple or honey = a more wholesome sweetener alternative
You’ll Need:
• 2 cups cooked rice
• 1 ½ cups milk (dairy or plant-based)
• ½ cup coconut milk
• ¼ cup maple syrup or honey
• ⅓ cup raisins
• 1 tsp cinnamon
• ¼ tsp nutmeg
• ½ tsp vanilla
• Pinch of salt
How To Make It:
1️⃣ Add rice + both milks to a saucepan and warm until gently simmering.
2️⃣ Stir in maple syrup, raisins, cinnamon, nutmeg & that tiny pinch of salt.
3️⃣ Let it thicken for 10–15 minutes, stirring often → creamy perfection.
4️⃣ Remove from heat + stir in vanilla for that cozy finishing touch.
