๐Ÿš€ Start Here: how this community works
Welcome! Two minutes here and you will know exactly what you have, where to go, and how to climb the leaderboard. What you get (all free) โžก๏ธ A full classroom. Open the Classroom tab. Start with the 10-Day AI Kickstart: one short step a day, no coding. Then browse the topic courses and 4 hands-on project courses (invoice automation, variance-report agent, Notion tracker, Copilot + Gemini productivity). โžก๏ธ A community that helps. Post wins, ask questions, learn from what others build. โžก๏ธ A leaderboard that rewards you for showing up and helping out. Where to post what โžก๏ธ ๐Ÿ† Wins & Progress โ€” anything you built, learned, or finished. โžก๏ธ ๐Ÿ†˜ Get Help โ€” stuck on a lesson or build? Ask here. โžก๏ธ ๐Ÿ‘‹ Introductions post โ€” say hello in the comments (pinned). โžก๏ธ ๐Ÿ“ฃ Announcements โ€” new courses and videos land here. Turn notifications on. --- The leaderboard: how to level up You earn points when other members like your posts and comments. More points means higher levels and a spot on the weekly, monthly, and all-time leaderboards. โžก๏ธ Post real wins and useful answers (sharing on LinkedIn too? Drop the link or paste your post here so we can celebrate you). Helpful posts get liked. Spammy "give me likes" posts do not. โžก๏ธ Answer questions in ๐Ÿ†˜ Get Help. Teaching others is the fastest way up. โžก๏ธ Show up. Activity compounds. ---- Levels: ๐ŸŒฑ AI Curious โ†’ ๐Ÿ’ก AI Aware โ†’ ๐Ÿ’ฌ AI Prompter โ†’ ๐Ÿ› ๏ธ AI Practitioner โ†’ ๐Ÿงฑ AI Builder โ†’ โš™๏ธ AI Automator โ†’ โ™Ÿ๏ธ AI Strategist โ†’ ๐Ÿš€ AI Leader โ†’ ๐Ÿ† AI Power User ---- Your first 3 steps 1. Say hello in the ๐Ÿ‘‹ Introductions post. 2. Open the Classroom and start Day 1 of the 10-Day Kickstart. 3. Post your first win in ๐Ÿ† Wins & Progress. That is it. Let us build.๐Ÿ˜Ž

๐Ÿ‘‹ Introduce yourself here
Welcome to the Codebasics AI Community ๐Ÿ‘‹ Glad you are here. This is a space for anyone who wants to actually use AI, not just read about it. This is where we go deeper: you learn, you try things, and you share what you build with people working toward the same goal as you. How it works here: 1. Learn from our videos and from what other members are building 2. Try things out and start doing your own work 3. Share what you made, even if it is small or unfinished 4. Help each other and grow together No question is too basic here. If you are stuck, ask. Do this now to get started: ๐Ÿ‘‰ comment to this post with: - Your name and what you do - Where are you from - One task you wish AI could do for you - One thing which is outside of work about you That is it. Say hi, and let us build together.

๐Ÿ“Œ Read: Community rules & guidelines
This is a space for working professionals learning to use AI for real, so let us keep it useful for everyone. Five minutes here saves you a lot later. What this community is for โžก๏ธ Learning AI practically and using it at your job. โžก๏ธ Sharing what you build, what worked, and what did not. โžก๏ธ Helping each other get unstuck. The rules 1. Be respectful: Disagree with ideas, never attack people. No harassment, hate, or personal attacks. 2. Post in the right space: Wins in ๐Ÿ† Wins & Progress, questions in ๐Ÿ†˜ Get Help, and say hello in the comments of the ๐Ÿ‘‹ Introductions post. It keeps things easy to find. 3. No spam or self-promotion: No selling, no affiliate links, no "DM me", no promoting other paid courses or communities. Sharing a free resource that genuinely helps the discussion is fine. 4. No piracy: Do not share paid course content, logins, or downloads that are not yours to share. This protects the community and you. 5. Keep it on-topic: AI, your work, your learning, your builds. Not politics, not religion, not unrelated drama. 6. Search before you ask: Your question may already be answered. If not, ask away, no question is too basic here. 7. Protect your data: Do not paste passwords, API keys, client data, or anything confidential into posts or AI tools you share here. --- How to get good help fast When you post in ๐Ÿ†˜ Get Help, include: โžก๏ธ Which lesson or project you are on. โžก๏ธ What you tried. โžก๏ธ A screenshot of where it broke. Vague questions get vague answers. Specific ones get solved. --- How to be a great member โžก๏ธ Cheer for at least one other person's win when you post yours. โžก๏ธ Answer a question if you know the answer. Teaching is the fastest way to learn. โžก๏ธ Share small wins, not just big ones. "I finally understood what an LLM is" counts. ---- What gets you removed Spam, harassment, piracy, or repeated rule-breaking after a warning. We keep this bar high so the community stays worth your time. --- Questions about the rules? Ask in ๐Ÿ†˜ Get Help.

Does better prompting matter more than knowing AI terms?
I've noticed something while learning AI. Knowing AI terms is useful, but asking better questions seems even more important. What's one prompt you've used recently that gave you an unexpectedly great result? I'm always looking to learn better prompting techniques.
