I’m Tiffany Malcolm, also known as Nurse Gert—a former labor and delivery nurse turned certified doula, educator, and advocate.
After years at the bedside, I witnessed firsthand how often women’s concerns were minimized, overlooked, or dismissed—especially when it came to early warning signs during pregnancy, labor, and postpartum.
That experience led me to create Code Red: Birth Awareness through my platform, Nurse Gert Doula Support.
This space exists to educate, empower, and support women and families with the knowledge they need to recognize red flags early and advocate for themselves with confidence.
