The 80/20 rule - It feels like I'm being led into 2026 with the encouragement to apply some "rules". I woke up this morning dreaming about the 80/20 rule. About focusing on the 20% of what I do that moves the needle. If we’re being honest… most of us already know what that 20% is. The hard part isn’t seeing it. It’s having the courage to stop feeding the other 80%. (I like a lot of the 80%, just need to get real about where productivity starts and ends) That’s where the Rule of Ones comes in. The Rule of Ones is a clarity framework I come back to again and again: one message, one channel, one offer, one clear next step Together, these two “rules” shift you out of overwhelm and into alignment. If you did nothing else but commit to your top 20% that worked with the Rules of Ones: - What would you stop doing? - What would you repeat more often? - What might finally have room to work?
