Welcome to Clief Notes. Here's where to start.
1. Watch the intro video and introduce yourself in the intro post here 2. Start with The Foundation (free course). Concepts, folder architecture, prompting framework. Everything else builds on this. 3. Check in at the bottom of each lesson. Polls, discussion posts, other members working through the same stuff. Use them. 4. When you're ready to build real things, move to Implementation Playbooks (Level 2). When you're ready to build your own tools, Building Your Stack (Level 3). 5. Post your work. Ask questions. Help others when you can. What are you here to build?

๐Ÿšจ You've been asking when the Lyceum opens. The waitlist is live. ๐Ÿšจ
The waitlist is up and seats are limited, so this is your nudge to go lock yours in. ๐Ÿ‘‡ New here? Quick context. ๐Ÿ‘€ The Lyceum is Jake's live cohort program built on ICM, the methodology 35,000 people in this community are already using to get real results with AI. The short version: folders over agents. You learn the layer underneath the tools, the one that keeps working when the next model drops. Full breakdown is on the site. Here's what's inside: ๐ŸŽฏ Three cohorts, Technical, Business, and Creator. Same methodology, built around what you actually do. ๐ŸŽฅ Live sessions with Jake and a full team of instructors. โ™พ๏ธ Lifetime recordings, written curriculum, and a private cohort Discord. ๐Ÿ“œ An Eduba ICM certification you can put on your resume. And a guarantee no course makes: โœ… You leave with a working product, or the team finishes it with you. โณ Seats are limited and this community moves fast, so the math is not in your favor if you wait. ๐Ÿ’ก Pricing and start dates aren't public yet. The waitlist sees them first, gives feedback on timing, and gets in before the program opens. Everything you want to know is on the page. If you already know this is for you, get on it. ๐Ÿ”ฅ ๐Ÿ‘‰ https://lyceum.eduba.io

$1,700 in Claude Code usage, what's yours?
I just calculated the last 30 days of usage from my Claude Code 5x usage, the numbers are crazy... I didn't use the subscription outside of Claude Code in the VS Code terminal and the Claude desktop app. Want to check for yourself? Step 0 just in case you don't have Claude installed via Terminal: Head to: https://claude.com/product/claude-code You'll find the installation script on the first page (Image 2) Step 1: 1.1. Open either the Command Prompt or Terminal 1.2. Type in /stats 1.3. Use your arrow button to head down (Image 3) 1.4. Right arrow button 1.5. Click R 2 times/make sure you're on "Last 30 days" 1.6. Ctrl + s to copy the little interface Step 2: Either calculate it yourself or let Claude calculate it. Since I am on the Max (5x) plan, that let's me use way more credits than the Pro plan, but much lesser than the 20x plan, so everyone's calculations will differ probably by a huge amount. Just a side note: I've only hit my 5 hour limit thrice in the All Time usage that spans way farther than the 30 days.

WEEKLY COMPETITION MEGATHREAD ๐Ÿ†
Iโ€™ve seen a number of people either not know competitions are going on or know how to find them so here is a quick single source thread where you can get to them all. Iโ€™ll keep this updated as new challenges are released. Update (6/3): @Joshua Hubbard has gone another step further and created a thread linking to all competition entries. Link here: https://www.skool.com/cliefnotes/the-competition-archive-every-entry-every-week-every-link?p=bd752987 Along with every weekly challenge, there is a weekly leaderboard challenge where the member at the top of the 7 day rolling leaderboard wins a free upgrade to their membership. This winner is announced on Mondays typically. Current Weekly Challenge @Jake Van Clief and @Matthew Creamer are enjoying well earned vacatons with their families and challenges will resume the week of 6/8. --- Past Challenges Week 1 The Challenge ๐Ÿ’ช - Build a brand voice document for a pet grooming business Rules & submissions ๐Ÿ—’๏ธ - https://www.skool.com/cliefnotes/first-ever-weekly-competition-is-live?p=90f50bf9 Results๐Ÿ† - https://www.skool.com/cliefnotes/weekly-comp-1-winner-ian-barriopedro?p=0501b57e Week 2 The Challenge ๐Ÿ’ช - Build an artifact of a financial advisor client intake system Rules & submissions ๐Ÿ—’๏ธ - https://www.skool.com/cliefnotes/weekly-comp-2-the-artifact-sprint?p=15145a68 Results๐Ÿ† - https://www.skool.com/cliefnotes/weekly-comp-2-winner-virgilio-robinson Week 3 The Challenge ๐Ÿ’ช - Build an AI specialist of your choice using the ICM method
