Chat brainstorming and building in VS code

question, I work in both Open ai chat and claude chat for brainstorming and ideas, but they are not connected into my Claude Code workspace which I use vs code to build stuff.

does anyone have a workflow ideas they do that helps them with this? do you work the same way?

do you do brainstorming separate and then just paste prompts into vs code(using claude)? I want my agents to get better and better but can they if they don't have access to memory in my chats from Open ai and claude chat?
