I need everyone to pause for a moment. If you are currently a free or paid member — please do NOT upgrade your membership this week. I know some of you are eager to “lock things in,” but upgrading too early could actually cause you to lose a prorated credit that Skool would otherwise calculate for you. Here’s why: Prorated credits are automatically calculated by Skool based on your current billing cycle. If you switch plans too early or change from monthly to annual (or vice versa), that credit may not apply. I want you to get every dollar you are entitled to. Over the next few days, I will: • Share clear step-by-step instructions • Explain exactly WHEN to switch • Clarify who should move monthly to monthly • Clarify who should move annual to annual Nothing is happening overnight. Today I want to clearly explain what the new membership structure means for those of you currently in the Premium tier. Beginning next week, if you would like to continue receiving: • The Complete Pattern Library • All classes and courses • Crafting Hours • Training on earning money from your knitting You will need to upgrade to the new VIP tier. If you do not upgrade, your access will move to the new Premium level, which includes: • The Premium Pattern Library (the previous free pattern library) • A new CMK & iCord pattern each month • Yarn reviews • Member-created patterns • The community feed Now let’s walk through some common scenarios. 🧵 Monthly Members Founding Members at $9/month: You will need to upgrade to the $10/month VIP tier. For that additional $1, you will now receive all classes, courses, crafting hours, and business training — significantly more value. Members who joined at $14/month: You will likely receive a prorated credit when you switch, and you will now be paying less while receiving more benefits. 🧶 Annual Members If you are currently on an annual plan, you will need to upgrade at $99/year for VIP. You should receive a prorated credit for the unused portion of your current membership toward your new annual plan — as long as you remain on the annual level. ⚠️ Important About Credits Prorated credits only apply if you move to the same billing structure (monthly to monthly OR annual to annual). If you switch from monthly to annual or annual to monthly, no credit will be calculated. All credits are calculated automatically by Skool. I do not control how those calculations are done or how they appear in your billing. I know transitions can feel confusing, especially when billing is involved.
