As frustrated as I am (not with anyone or anything here), I’m glad to have all of you in this community. I love coming back to this community, because I read through the posts and see all the beautiful things that everybody makes and it makes me happier again. Unfortunately, it doesn’t make the headache go away or make me less tired, but it sure does pick up my spirits! Sorry, I don’t have a picture of anything I’ve done today. I haven’t even used the circular machines today. I want to thank you in advance for just letting me rant a little bit. I can’t do it on Facebook, and the one person I would normally vent to is the person I’m ranting about. Doesn’t that just figure? Lol. I was supposed to be helping my best friend with a project. She’s going to a music festival this weekend, and I told her I would help her. Because I own the badge making machine, and all the other materials, I donated not only the materials, but my time as well. And I’m helping her design the images she needs. But at 10 o’clock this morning, she informed me she was moving slowly, and hadn’t gotten ready to leave her house yet. Noon came, she said she was still barely moving. Then at 2:30 this afternoon she informed me she’s not coming over. After I have designed several images, printed and trimmed them, and got the other supplies ready, she can’t be bothered to show up. It’s a 4 mile drive, not 40… Don’t get me wrong. I love this woman as if she were my sister. I have known her for 47 years. I know this is how she usually is. I know she’s a bit of an airhead and a huge procrastinator. So, why oh why did I think today would be the day she actually showed up when she was supposed to? And actually do what she said she was going to do? Why am I left doing all the work that she was supposed to be doing? I guess because I love and care about her so much. She’s not related family, but she’s chosen family. Thank you all for letting me rant a bit. Now I’m going to go through the posts looking at all the pretty things and get happy again! Love being in this community!
